A warm welcome to our website! We hope it provides some helpful and interesting information about our school. Last year we celebrated our Sesquicentenary, 150 years of service to public education in Glebe!
Glebe Public School is a vibrant, community based school. We are proud that our school is part of the Federal Government’s ‘Schools in Partnership’ (SiP) program which supports valuing, respecting and appreciating Aboriginal culture and student identity. Through this program we are able to maximise educational outcomes for each student.
The school is located within walking distance of Sydney University and has strong links with its faculty of Education and Teacher Training Programs. We are also close to many of Sydney’s museums, galleries and sporting facilities, with children regularly enjoying the excursions and enrichment activities offered.
We hope you will share our rich learning community! We are excited to have created a culture in which students, teachers, support staff, parents and community volunteers work together to provide a dynamic and quality learning environment.
