Extension Programs/UNSW Educational Assessment

We are fortunate to be able to offer Extension Programs in Numeracy and Literacy. These run parallel to normal class programs, and are evaluated for inclusion twice a term. We strongly promote and support participation in the UNSW educational assessment.

Student Leadership

Small groups are timetabled throughout the week to workshop aspects of leadership; connectedness, having a voice and protocols of decision making.  Read more here.

Art

The school employs specialist Art and Technology teachers. Students are fortunate to be able to participate in the NSW DET run CREATE program (aspects of which were held on-site at Glebe in 2007 and 2008), and enjoy a variety of programs for gifted artists offered by the NSW Art Gallery.

Congratulations to four of our talented artists, who were recently chosen as finalists in the Minsister for Education's Christmas Card design competition. Well done Jamilla who won the competition!
