Everyone Belongs is the theme of Harmony Day across Australia for 2017.
Did you know that almost half of all Australians were either born overseas for have a parent born in another country. Over the past 72 years, more than 7.5 million migrants have made Australia home.
Cultural diversity is one of the strengths of the Glebe Public School. Every day teachers and students learn about, and share their varied cultural and religious traditions.
Orange is the colour chosen to represent Harmony Day across Australia. Traditionally orange signifies social communication and meaningful conversations. it also relates to the freedom of ideas and encouragement of mutual respect.
At Glebe PS we celebrate Harmony Day with a family barbecue and a special school assembly.
