If you can read the recipe then you can mix, cook and eat delicious strawberry pancakes with cinnamon, sugar, honey and ice cream. Definitely the best Literacy lesson EVER...

Pancake Tuesday, also known as Shrove Tuesday in Australia, is the last day of feasting before Lent for many Christians. The tradition of eating pancakes on the Tuesday comes from a time where any remaining rich foods were eaten on the day before Lent to use them up, before fasting began.
Many Australians make and share pancakes on Shrove Tuesday. Selling pancakes to raise money for charity is a popular activity. Some churches, businesses and charities hold Pancake Day events by making fresh pancakes and selling them.
