Parents & Carers
The support of parents and carers is vital in the schools commitment to support the engagement and achievement of all students. Glebe Public School values this support and strives to constantly strengthen and build on these respectful relationships. Home, School and Community partnerships are a central focus at our school and many activities, events, training, initiatives and opportunities exist for parents and carers to get involved in their child's education.
The school chooses to employ several support staff to support these partnerships, including targeted support for parents, carers and community members from Aboriginal backgrounds and Language backgrounds other than English.
The school is also the home to Centipede Before and After School Care Centre, Treehouse (a School Community Centres initiative) that provides a range of activities for parents with children from birth to starting school, and an active P&C Association.
Glebe Public School also welcomes parents, carers and community members as volunteers at the school.
