Schools as Community Centre (SACC)
Glebe School Community Centre is a family centre which aims to support families with young children in order to give them the best possible start to life. It is situated in the school grounds next to the Before and After Care Centre. It runs a range of programs including:
- Supported playgroups
- Daily attendance bus
- Music and movement groups for parents & toddlers
- Support groups for parents of children with autism
- Parenting education classes
- Young Parents supported playgroups
- Headstart transition to school program.

Teresa is a Family Worker at the Glebe School Community Centre. She provides assistance for parents with children in the 0 – 8 age group. Her services include:
- Home visiting casework
- Parenting courses
- Women’s groups
